Christingle

We are thrilled to announce that we will be holding a ‘socially distanced’ Christingle celebration this year!

On Christmas Eve, starting at 5pm, we will be inviting families into church to collect their Christingles. This will be in the form of a festive walk-through, where they will be able to see the different nativities on display; see the Christmas Tree baring remembrance baubles; listen to the choir singing their festive songs and carols; and finally collect the Christingle itself, allowing children to share the light of Christ with the world.

When ordering tickets, please ensure that you are following the government guidelines ie. no more than six in a group, and no mixing of households.

Tickets for adults and children are FREE, but you will need to pay a nominal fee of £3 per Christingle - all of which should be ordered through the ticketing platform. Please ensure that you order the correct number of tickets / Christingles required for your entire party. The use of ticketing for the Christingle itself is to eliminate the use of single-use plastic collection candles, and to ensure that everyone attending that wants a Christingle will get one on the night! We will have a collection jar on the night, should you wish to make a further donation to The Children’s Society.

Ticket information will be available very soon, so WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
